Paradise lanes is Friday Harbor's first and only bowling alley. Scott Olinger bought the business in March of 2008 and has been operating it ever since. A bit of a jack-of-all-trades, he does everything there - Maintenance on the pin setting equipment; upkeep on the lanes to keep them oiled just right; he runs the full service pro shop, matching gear to bowlers' needs (including drilling the finger holes in your brand new bowling ball); he teaches bowling to beginning and advanced bowlers; and he manages the day to day operation of things including merchant leagues, open bowling and parties & special events.
