What is this website all about?
The short answer:
This website is a showcase of the people and businesses that shape the personality of Friday Harbor and San Juan Island.
The long answer:
Similar to my “Sometimes a New Photo” photo blog, its purpose is to force a little incentive upon myself to be creative and try new things, but with an emphasis portrait photography, as opposed to whatever-happens-to-strike-my-fancy-today photography.
The plan is for it to be win/win – The people I photograph win because they get quality photos of themselves and a plug for their business. I win because I gain experience photographing lots of different people who are willing to pose for me as I hone my skills as a portrait photographer.
